IE, IA, Oh Yeah!

The last week of June was a big one: time was up, stress was on, sleep was lost. Naiara had to face her first formal PhD assessment for the end of her first year (IA), and Judith had to face the even more daunting 2nd year Internal Evaluation (IE), which someone has started calling the "Infernal" Evaluation, and not without reason. Let me clear any doubt: they both did brilliantly! (just look at those smiles!)… But there is a long journey ahead of both still, and so much work to do, so nobody is getting ahead of themselves here. We only congratulate them and wish them every success for the forthcoming challenges! And maybe have a beer or two… and maybe we organise a lab dinner out… in fact, we have a few more things to celebrate, so July is going to be jam-packed with events…
